NVRQT Goes Country with Jon and Farrah Lester

  • Joe's Bar on Weed 940 West Weed Street Chicago, IL, 60642 United States (map)

Grab your cowboy boots and hat! Join Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Jon Lester, his wife Farrah, Cubs players and coaches and help strike out cancer!

Cancer survivor and World Series Champion pitcher, Jon Lester and his wife Farrah will host  NVRQT Goes Country at Joe's Bar on Weed St. on July 20, 2018. Net proceeds from the event will benefit Lester's NVRQT campaign, run by the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF), which helps raise awareness and money for pediatric cancer research.

Look for nationally recognized country music recording artists to headline a night of great music that includes Cubs players and coaches bartending and cooking up some country fun. Enjoy a hearty buffet dinner, cocktails and a premium silent and live auction as well as some game and additional entertain from players and local celebrities in attendance.

The Impact

Curing pediatric cancer – it’s that simple.  As a cancer survivor himself, Jon and his wife Farrah are on a mission to fund pediatric cancer research through NVRQT and PCRF.  It’s for the kids.

Cubs Charities will donate event proceeds to Jon Lester’s NVRQT campaign for PCRF.
